Digital Strategy for the HUK-COBURG Insurance Group.
With around 10 million customers HUK-COBURG positions itself as the largest German insurer for private homes. At the same time, HUK-COBURG is Germany’s largest motor insurance group.
In early 2012 the company ordered the development of a digital strategy, which should directly transfer the promises and benefits of the company’s mission statement into the digital channels.
After intensive analysis and consulting HUK-COBURG launched their social-media-channel fresh and motivated. Their target group were existing customers as well as prospective clients. The focus not only lay upon efficient dialogue and service but also on consulting and information regarding the expertise of the company.
Distinguishing the new online-presence from the already existing one of HUK-COBURG’s sister brand HUK24 was challenging. HUK-Coburg managed this by focussing on and showing their high level of expertise.
As well as preparation and supervision of the channels, our task was also development of internal business operations and consultation through the implementation phase. Real digital transformation that goes beyond classic social media consultation. Together we developed optimal processes, hence building the basis for real moderation-competence.
